Privacy Policy

WRTDeck is built privacy-first. The app connects directly from your device to your own router — your network data does not pass through us. The few things the app can send off your device are listed below; each is either opt-in or initiated by you, and none is used to track you across apps or websites.

The app (WRTDeck for iOS)

Router credentials & keys — passwords and SSH private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and never leave it. We never receive them.
Your network data — device lists, Wi-Fi, firewall and status are fetched live from your router to your phone. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.
Anonymous diagnostics (opt-in, off by default) — if you turn it on, the app sends a random install identifier, your device model, your app/iOS version and anonymous screen-usage counts to our endpoint (api.minik.cloud). No password, hostname, IP, SSID, MAC or router configuration content is ever included. The identifier is a random number generated on your device; you can reset it any time.
Crash reports (opt-in, off by default) — if you enable automatic crash sending, the app may send Apple MetricKit crash stack traces plus a short, generic in-app event trail (which never contains hosts, IPs, identities or SSIDs) to api.minik.cloud, so we can fix crashes. You can review pending reports in the app before they are sent.
Feedback you send — when you use the in-app feedback form, your message text, the chosen category and your app/iOS version are sent to api.minik.cloud. Your email address is included only if you tick the “store my email” box, and is used solely to reply to you.
Router location lookup (opt-in, off by default) — if you enable “Resolve router location” in Settings, the app sends your router's already-public WAN IP address to a third-party geo service (ipwho.is) to display the router's city on the dashboard. While this is off, nothing is sent there; the card still shows the IP, country and ISP reported by your own router.
Purchases — Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple (StoreKit). We never see your payment details; the app only learns whether a valid subscription is active.

Third parties

The app talks to Apple (App Store / StoreKit, for purchases) and — only if you enable router-location lookup — ipwho.is (for IP-to-city, which may be processed outside your country). Diagnostics, crash reports and feedback go to api.minik.cloud, operated by us. We use no advertising network, no analytics SDK and no cross-app tracking.

This website (minik.cloud)

Waitlist email — if you submit your email, we store it solely to notify you when WRTDeck launches. We never sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
Language detection — to choose your language, the site reads your approximate country from the network edge (Cloudflare) and your browser's language setting. Your IP address is not stored or logged by us for this purpose.
No advertising trackers — the site uses no ad networks and no cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

Waitlist emails are kept until launch or until you request deletion. Opt-in diagnostics, crash reports and feedback are retained only as long as needed to fix issues or reply to you. You can request deletion of anything tied to you (your feedback email, or diagnostics linked to your install identifier) at any time.

Your choices

Diagnostics, automatic crash sending and router-location lookup are all off by default and can be turned on or off any time in the app's Settings. You can reset your random install identifier, review crash reports before sending, and request deletion of your data by contacting us. Under the GDPR/KVKK you also have rights of access, rectification and erasure.
